Behind every growing community is infrastructure that helps businesses grow, services expand, and communities thrive. From restaurants and car dealerships to waste management facilities and other essential services, reliable energy is the backbone of a vibrant community.

During 2025 and the first half of 2026, we completed several projects to support new and expanding businesses throughout the Columbus area. These investments provide the natural gas infrastructure businesses rely on today while helping communities accommodate continued growth and development in the years ahead.

Dave & Buster’s | Columbus Park Crossing

Dave & Buster’s new Columbus location brings an entertainment and dining destination to Columbus Park Crossing, giving families and visitors another place to gather and enjoy time together, while creating jobs for local residents.

To support the facility, we installed a natural gas service line, providing the energy infrastructure needed to serve allow Dave and Busters to run their business and add value to the community.

Sons Chevrolet | Whittlesey Boulevard

Sons Chevrolet invested in a larger, state-of-the-art facility on Whittlesey Boulevard, complete with a cutting-edge showroom and room to expand its operations.

During the design phase, the facility did not have readily available access to natural gas.

Our engineering and operations teams developed a plan to make service possible, installing approximately a new gas main along Whittlesey Boulevard to bring natural gas to the new facility.

While it may just seem like a gas line, that main allows Sons Chevrolet to serve the community better. Their vehicles transport community members to work, children to school, and much more, and we are proud to provide the natural gas that keeps their enhanced showroom running.

Waste Management | Columbus

As the community grows, so does our waste. To help keep Columbus clean, Waste Management opened a new facility that will support the essential waste management services that businesses, families and communities rely on every day.

As part of the project, we extended the distribution main to serve the new facility. This means that neighborhoods will be cleaner, businesses will be more sanitary, and communities will have the services they need.

Building for What’s Next

Each project serves a different purpose, but together they demonstrate how critical infrastructure investments help support a growing community. New and expanding businesses may bring jobs, essential services, visitors, and economic activity to the area, but we bring the energy.
